Outstanding SMS campaign results for Allied Carpets

Allied Carpets have enjoyed over 50 years in the flooring arena with a proposition based on a winning mix of quality, service, guarantees, choice and value. As part of a re-vitalised approach to marketing, Allied asked MIG to review the customer database and to provide insight into how customers could be targeted with key marketing propositions and offers using mobile technology.

The result was a series of offer-based SMS campaigns over the 2008/09 festive period designed to drive previous customers into stores. Customers were selected based on their drive-time proximity to each store. Store management were provided the names of targeted customers to help with identification and customer care.

The SMS campaign proved an investment - ROI of 30:1 - an outstanding success for Allied Carpets.
